Department of Culture of Lutsk City Council has won the grant of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Kyiv

The project "German weeks in Lutsk 2020": "The united in Europe - 30 years of German unity" prepared by specialists of the Department of Culture of Lutsk City Council has won in a grant competition of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Kyiv.

The project activities will be implemented in October this year in cooperation with the  German Centres of Academic Exchange  (DAAD) of the Lesya Ukrainka Eastern European National University and the public organization "Society of Germans in Volyn".

The main goal of the project is to promote European values among the residents of Lutsk and Volyn, especially children and youth, to strengthen cooperation with German partners and to promote the idea of Ukrainian-German unity.

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the project activities will be held in a new format - online. Among the planned events there are: photo exhibition "Free Europe", exhibitions of works of German artists in Ukraine, documents and photographs, competition-exhibition of children's works of art, master class "Traditional German embroidery", instrumental music flashmob, photo quest and others. The amount of grant funds for the implementation of project activities is 1,200 euros.
