Ecological buses will run in Lutsk
Two new buses MAN A21 Lion’s City will run on one of the routes in Lutsk. They were purchased by a private carrier Sunrise Ltd. as a result of negotiations between Lutsk City Council and private carriers aimed to replace old worn-out public transport which is currently circulating round the city by new ones.
The new buses are ecological as they meet the Euro-5 standard and are equipped with gas engines, the buses also have a low floor, a ramp and special seats with belts for disabled.
Ihor Polishchuk, Lutsk City Mayor, while inspecting the new buses noted that currently, due to quarantine restrictions, which allow to transport no more passengers than seats, these buses are more important than ever for the city as a passenger capacity of the buses is 80 seats, including 42 for seating. One of such bus substitutes two old buses.
Another three buses are going to be purchased by the end of this year.
In total, the carrier plans to purchase twenty new buses.
