Fire and Rescue Service in Volyn region has received new equipment
About 150 fires occur each year in the city of Lutsk, which cause significant damage to life and health of the city residents and lead to material losses.
Fire and rescue units of the city eficiently eliminate fires, natural desasters, accidents and other emergencies, rescue people, showing high professionalism, determination and dedication. Fire outfit and equipment have been in use for a long time and need to be replaced.
By the decision of the Lutsk City Council within the Program of Civil Defense Development of the City of Lutsk for 2016-2020, 315 thousand UAH have been allocated for the 1st State Fire and Rescue Unit of the State Emergency Service in Volyn region.
For this money through the tender procedure of open bidding it has been purchased:
• 80 pairs of certified fire boots for all firefighters;
• 60 pairs of special shoes.
Purchased boots are resistant to acids, alkalis and petroleum products, have insulating dielectric strength for alternating current with voltage up to 10 k / volt.
