Ihor Polishchuk has become a new Lutsk City Mayor

According to the Resolution of the Lutsk City Territorial Election Commission from November 19, 2020 № 121 Mr. Ihor Polishchuk has become a new Lutsk City Mayor. He won 54.60% of votes in the 2-nd round of mayoral elections which took place on November 15, 2020.

Mariia Parfeniuk, the Head of the Lutsk City Territorial Election Commission, announced the above mentioned on the meeting of the Commission.

 

Curriculum vitae.

Polishchuk Ihor Ihorovych was born on July 1, 1988 in Lutsk. He studied at the Secondary School No 15, graduated from the Kyiv National University of Internal Affairs (now – the National Academy of Internal Affairs) and the Yaroslav Mudryi Law Academy of Ukraine (now – the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University of Ukraine).

He began his work career in 2010 as a lawyer assistant. In 2012-2013 he worked as a legal adviser in the charity fund “Ihor Palytsia’s "New Lutsk" Foundation”. From 2013 to 2016 he held the position of Chief Legal Adviser in the “Ihor Palytsia’s "New Lutsk" Foundation”.

From 2016 to March 2017 – he occupied a position of Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of "Ihor Palytsia’s “United Together” (“Tilky Razom”) Foundation".

In 2017 he was elected to the post of Secretary of the Lutsk City Council, Acting Mayor. Since 2017 he’s worked as an Advisor to the Lutsk City Mayor.

Ihor Polishchuk is a Member of the Lutsk City Council of the VI and VII convocations.
