In Lutsk, the participants of "Summer clean-up campaign 2020" cleaned the riverbed of Sapalaivka
On June, 05, 2020 to keep Lutsk clean the citywide "Summer clean-up campaign 2020" took place. Deputy Mayor Kostiantyn Petrochuk, Advisor to the Mayor Ihor Polishchuk, employees of the executive bodies of the Lutsk City Council, municipal institutions and organizations of the city joined together to clean the territory of the city.
The event began with the cleaning of the Sapalaivka riverbed near the Lutsk Children's Railway.
The river was so clogged with garbage that there was no water flow.
Similar events took place in three other parts of our city along the route: Chekhova Str. – Shopena Str. – Vynnychenka Str. - Ivana Franka Str. - Naberezhna Str. towards the Styr River.
