In the framework of the Polish-Ukrainian Meetings of Masters of the Word, the 13th Recitation Contest took place in Lutsk
The Palace of Culture in Lutsk hosted the first stage of the XIII Recitation Competition in the framework of Polish-Ukrainian Meetings of Masters of the Word, attended by 37 people from different cities of Ukraine.
Works of such Polish writers, as V. Shymborska, A. Asnyk, T. Ruzhevych, M. Pavlikovska-Yasnozhevska, A. Mickiewicz, Z. Hinchanka, C. Milosz, L. Vyshnevska, S. Mrozhek, M. Konopnytska, and A. Valigorsky, V. Mlynarsky, Y. Slovatsky, Y. Tuvim, Y. Bargelskaya and others sounded from the stage.
For the strict final in the Polish-Ukrainian Meetings of Masters of the Word, which will take place on April 3-4 in Lutsk following participants were shortlisted by jury panel: Anastasiia Andriichenko (Vinnytsia), Anastasiia Bolotyuk (Cherkasy), Oleksandra Davydchuk (Lutsk), Anastasia Karachun (Lutsk) Nina Makukha (Poltava), Sofia Martyniuk (Lutsk), Svitlana Mukha (Lutsk), Anastasiia Nikityuk (Lutsk), Olha Ozolina (Kyiv), Uliana Oleksyuk (Lutsk) , Sofia Pavlovska (Lutsk), Iryna Khamulka (Lutsk), Kateryna Yaremchuk (Rivne). According to the contest conditions, the winners of last year's competition Anastasia Mykhalchuk and Anna Klymovych (Lutsk) will also take part in the strict final of the Polish-Ukrainian Meetings of Masters of the Word.
Roksolana Rudyk (Lutsk), Andriy Zhmur (Vinnytsia), Iryna Klekotsiuk (Lutsk), Anna Shvaikovska (Lutsk), Mykhailo Shovkomud (Lutsk), Vitalii Popov (Odesa) received rewards the for participation in the contest.
The contest was organized by the Department of Culture of the City Council, the Centre for Culture in Lublin and the Society of Polish Culture named after T. Kosciuszko. The contest is supported by the Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Lutsk and the President of the City of Lublin.
