Installment of "smart displays" at public transport stops in Lutsk has been completed
The "smart displays" were purchased within the project “Introduction of ecological and smart technologies in public transport of Lutsk City" funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany through Engagement Global gGmbH and the Service Agency Communities in One World, under Nakopa Programme. Grant funds for the project is 217,600 euros, with co-financing from the local budget of Lutsk - 24,970 euros. The project is being implemented jointly with the partner Lippe District (Germany).
In total 22 public transport timetable "smart displays" have been installed in Lutsk. Each display is equipped with a charging point for cell phones, outdoor lighting, separate garbage bins, a video surveillance camera and Wi-Fi.
Also within the project 9 smart public transport stops have been installed and 17 trolleybuses have been painted. It is planned to create a website about public transport in Lutsk and hold trainings for Lutsk electric transport company personnel.
