Lutsk City Mayor Ihor Polishchuk has met with Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Lutsk Sławomir Misiak
On 15 of December Lutsk City Mayor Ihor Polishchuk met with Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Lutsk Sławomir Misiak and Vice Consul Teresa Chruszcz.
During the meeting Ihor Polishchuk thanked for the friendly relations that have developed between Consulate of the Republic of Poland and Lutsk City Council. He mentioned that we have had a fruitful cooperation in the field of culture and organization of various festivals. Lutsk music school №1 works with Polish counterparts and implements numerous mutual projects, one of which is "Chopin Spring". Lutsk schools and gymnasiums have close ties with Polish educational institutions. Lutsk City Mayor expressed the hope for the continuation of the cooperation.
In turn, Slavomir Misiak Consul General congratulated Igor Polishchuk on his election to the post of Lutsk Mayor and wished him success and support in his work.
Viktoria Homonets, Head of the International Cooperation and Project Activities Department spoke about international projects which are jointly being implemented in Lutsk and Polish cities with grant funds. In particular, about the restoration of the Chortoryyskyi Tower in Lutsk, the improvement of the road infrastructure on Rivnenska Street and the replacement of traffic lights.
In addition, the Lutsk City Children's Polyclinic is going to receive an ambulance from Polish colleagues, which is currently undergoing a registration procedure.
