Lutsk ecologists have consulted with Lublin colleagues on the organizing of work in the field of city landscaping

On July 23, with the assistance of International Cooperation and Project Activities Department the meeting of representatives of the Department of Ecology of Lutsk City Council and Municipal Enterprise “Parks and squares of the City of Lutsk” with colleagues from the Lublin City Architect's Office was held by teleconference.

Lutsk colleagues were interested in Lublin's experience in city landscaping.

During the conference Józef Piotr Wrona, Head of the Department of Tree Protection and Preservation at the City Architect's Office, told Lutsk colleagues in detail about Lublin's experience in pruning trees, about national and local rules which regulates maintenance of green areas, methods they use to get rid of insects and diseases that destroy plants in public urban green areas.

The teleconference was very interesting and useful. Representatives of the Lublin City Administration have once again demonstrated their openness and willingness to cooperate even in quarantine conditions.
