Secretary of Lutsk City Council Hryhorii Pustovit has met with a delegation from the Lippe District
A meeting of a delegation from the Lippe District and Secretary of Lutsk City Council, Acting Mayor Hryhorii Pustovit was held on December 12, 2018 in the conference hall of Lutsk Centre for Administrative Services Delivery. The visit took place in the framework of the project "Chances of international municipal corporation – an active exchange of experience". The meeting was also attended by First Deputy Mayor Hryhorii Nedopad, Mayor's assistant Borys Smal, deputies and representatives of the executive bodies of the City Council.
The Lippe District was represented at the meeting by Head of Administration of the Lippe District Karl-Eitel John, Deputy Advisor, politician in the Parliament of the Lippe District Thomas Enzensberger, politician in the Parliament of the Lippe District (Social Democratic Party) Regina Schichtel-König, politician in the Parliament of the Lippe District (Christian Democratic Union) Birgit Tornau, politician in the Parliament of the Lippe District (Free Democratic Party) Andreas Mickel, politician in the Parliament of the Lippe District (Left party) Wolfram Fiedler, the representative of IT Strategy Data Analytics of Lippe District Andreas Kreuzmann, representative of Society for traffic at the Lippe District Bernd Schulze-Waltrup, responsible for international partnership and project activities in Administration of Lippe District Bernd-Heinrich Korte, Managing Director of the Waste Management Company in Lippe, Head of Water and Waste Management Department in Administration of Lippe District Berthold Lockstedt, assistant to the administrative board (press) Mareike Brinkmeyer.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Secretary of the Lutsk City Council greeted the guests in our city, briefly told about the cooperation between Lutsk and the Lippe District, and the projects which were being implemented, perspectives and further plans. He thanked the guests for the priceless experience they eagerly shared and expressed the hope that friendship between our municipalities would only strengthen and bring mutual benefit.
The Head of the German delegation, Karl-Eitel John, in turn, expressed his gratitude for the hospitable and warm welcome, a rich program of stay organized by the International Cooperation and Project Activities Department.
Hryhorii Pustovit told about the structure and activities of the 7th convocation of the Lutsk City Council. Later, guests from Germany discussed with Lutsk colleagues the peculiarities of functioning of the local self-government bodies of Lutsk and the Lippe District. Deputies of the Lutsk City Council actively asked questions about the cooperation between the authorities and the opposition in Lippe and the aspects of involvement of professional specialists in solving the problems of high social importance.
