The celebration of the end of the school year has been held in Lutsk in compliance with the requirements of quarantine
Quarantine and anti-epidemic measures introduced in Lutsk to prevent the COVID-19 epidemic are affecting the usual rhythm of life of the city. This is especially true of significant and festive dates that are important in the life of Lutsk. One of them is the celebration of the end of the 2019-2020 school year.
The Education Department of the Lutsk City Council along with the city authorities and heads of the schools have made a lot of efforts to create a holiday for children and have decided to hold this event online and broadcast it on TV.
The celebration was attended by the Secretary of Lutsk City Council, Acting Mayor Hryhorii Pustovit, Deputy Mayor Iryna Chebeliuk, Head of the Department of Education Zinovia Leshchenko, as well as heads of educational institutions of the city.
«Today's holiday is an experiment, improvisation aimed at preserving the spirit of the holiday that we always have on this day. A spirit that always motivates students, teachers and parents to remember: no matter what difficulties arise in life, they must be overcome», said the Secretary of Lutsk City Council, Acting Mayor Hryhorii Pustovit.
He congratulated the Lutsk graduates and thanked all the teachers who in such difficult conditions did their utmost to help students successfully finish school.
Along with the song and waltz the ringing of the school bell ended solemnly this event.
