The Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Lithuania has been opened in Lutsk
On June 11, 2021 the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Lithuania was opened in Lutsk. The opening ceremony was attended by high-ranking officials of the Republic of Lithuania headed by Vice Speaker of the Seimas Paulus Saudargas and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Lithuania to Ukraine Valdemaras Sarapinas, MPs of Ukraine, Honorary Consuls of Poland and the Czech Republic, Lutsk City Mayor Ihor Polishchuk, Deputy Mayor Iryna Chebeliuk as well as representatives of regional authorities.
Lutsk City Mayor Ihor Polishchuk noted that for many years Lutsk had been involved in successful international cooperation. In Lithuania Lutsk had two partner cities. He added that with opening of the Honorary Consulate that cooperation would only deepen.
Serhii Martyniak became the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Lithuania in the Volyn region.
The diplomatic institution is located at 12 Slovatskoho Street in the city center. Working hours are from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday - Friday and by appointment on the same days from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
