Thermal modernization of the school №11 will save the city budget
On June, 04, 2020 Deputy Mayor Iryna Chebeliuk, Advisor to the Mayor Ihor Polishchuk and Head of the Capital Construction Department of Lutsk City Council Leonid Karaban visited the Lutsk secondary school №11 to inspect the ongoing repair work there.
Leonid Karaban noted that the school №11 was one of the facilities where energy-saving repairs are being carried out in cooperation with NEFCO which would enable to save about 40-50% on energy. Funding for the works along with the co-financing from the city budget amounted to about UAH 20 million.
Under the Project 238 windows have been replaced with energy-saving ones, the facade has been insulated, and the roof has been replaced with the new, modern materials of a 15-year warranty. The cobblestones are being laid at the expense of the city budget.
