Work on the improvement of the city is being continued despite the quarantine
Even during the quarantine in Lutsk, the landscaping work has not been stopped. Renovated roads, streets and adjacent territories are not only an elegant view of the city, but also the safety and comfort of its residents.
Today First Deputy Mayor Hryhorii Nedopad, Adviser to the Mayor Ihor Polishchuk and Director of the Department of Housing and Communal Services Mykola Osiyuk checked the repair works on the streets of Lutsk which has been already completed or are still underway.
In particular: Rohova Street, where the current repairs on a total amount of 650 thousand UAH has been carried out this year. For many years, there was no asphalt on that street, and after heavy rains, residents had to move almost in rubber boots. Today, the residents of Rohova Street are grateful for the road surface of high quality.
On the adjacent territory of Hrushevskogo Avenue, 11, 13 the current repair work is nearing completion: the sidewalks have been paved, the roadway of the yard has been repaired.
Almost all overhaul work has been performed on the adjacent territories on Molodi Avenue, 17a, 17b, 19, Sobornosti Street 13a, 13b. All paths and sidewalks have been paved there, and slopes for people with disabilities, new benches, modern lighting on new galvanized supports, and a playground have been arranged.
The road near the house №4 on Sukhomlynskoho Street has also been overhauled. The most expensive object with the total amount of repair work over UAH 3,750,000 is the adjacent territory at 4 Nalyvaika Street.
Unfortunately, in recent months, the losses of the budget of the city of Lutsk due to quarantine are approximately 100 million UAH. Nevertheless, the city authorities continue to do the most necessary things for the city - capital repairs of adjacent territories, arrangement of footpaths, repairs of streets.
