Modernization of Zoological Gardens in Zamość and Lutsk and Development of a Concept of Establishing a Recreation Zone in Rzeszów in Order to Develop Cross-border Qualified Nature Tourism
Project objective: To strengthen the significance of tourism as a factor that stimulates the socio-economic development of Zamość, Rzeszow, and Lutsk, which will lead to the creation of new workplaces and increased revenues in the tourism and intermediary tourism services sector.

Main activities:
1. Promotional materials, including posters and products for project visualization, were created (in the Polish and Ukrainian languages).
2. Reconstruction of the Lutsk Zoo was carried out.
3. A camp for bears covering an area of 1736 m2 was built.
4. A lion camp was built with an area of 1250 m2
5. 13 animal enclosures were constructed.
On October 18, 2015, the official opening of the Lutsk Zoo was held, where everyone could see the results of the project, feed the animals and take part in competitions and quizzes.
The Lead Partner of the project, the city of Zamość, renovated its zoo and shared its modernization expertise. Similarly, another partner, the city of Rzeszów, created a concept for a recreational area with zoo elements in Rzeszów as part of the project.
