Bread Festival in Ivano-Frankivsk
On 4-5 October 2014 the representatives of Lutsk and Rzeszów (Poland) visited the city of Ivano-Frankivsk (Ukraine) within the framework of the project "Joint cooperation network within culture and welfare on behalf of the development of the cities of Polish-Ukrainian borderland", that is financed by European Union. For Rzeszów delegation, represented by cultural sphere, tourism and social care experts, it was the first visit to the regional center of Prykarpatia. Participants visited prominent places of interest of the city and took part in “Bread Festival”.
Representatives of Lutsk visited Ivano-Frankivsk in order to learn how to hold the “Bread Festival” as well as popularize their own region. Nataliia Bunda – the Head of Tourism and City Promotion Department of Lutsk City Council and Nataliia Vyshnevska – leading expert of the department of project activities of international cooperation administration and project activites of Lutsk City Council distributed visual tourist products among inhabitants as well as guests of the city. Kateryna Dmytruk – representative of the Brotherhood of beekeepers of Volyn region “Roiovyi stan” presented the products of local manufacturing. Tetiana Zakharko – leading production engineer of LLC “VolynTorhKhlib” and Valentyna Muzychuk - head of logistics’ department of LLC “VolynTorhKhlib” got acquainted with the products of the bakers from Ivano-Frankivsk.
On 5 October 2014 the meeting between the project manager and regional coordinators was also held, where they discussed the future steps of project fulfillment, regarding the detection of potential problems and their minimization.
