In Lutsk the Memorandums on Cooperation between the cities were signed

On August 25, 2013 Lutsk City Mayor Mykola Romaniuk met with the official foreign delegations. Welcoming the guests, Mykola Romaniuk said: „Today, when we are celebrating the Day of our city, the event of a great value will take place. A number of agreements will be signed between the partner-cities and I hope between the future partner-cities. Thus we will sign the Memorandum on Mutual Relations with the city of Kyjov (the Czech Republic). Besides, Agreements within the framework of the project "The Gediminids’ Way" with the Polish city of Lublin and the Lithuanian cities of Trakai and Kaunas will be concluded. I am sure that this project will unite us first in the tourism sphere, and further cooperation will continue in different directions”. Lutsk City Mayor thanked the foreign guests who expressed their willingness to cooperation, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Lithuania in Ukraine Mr. Petras Vaytyeskunasu, who is a friend of our city and who helped in broadening " The Gediminids’ Way" project, cities Trakai and Kaunas, the Mayor of Lublin Krzysztof Żuk.
Afterwards the Deputy Mayor Taras Yakovlev invited the Deputy Mayor of Kyjov Antonín Kuchař (the Czech Republic) for signing the Memorandum on Mutual Relations between the cities of Kyjov and Lutsk. After the signing the document Antonín Kuchař expressed his joy for visiting such a wonderful city and meeting nice people. "I am pleased with the fact that a new level of cooperation between the two cities is beginning... I promise that we will make efforts to continue and develop it," – he admited, wishing the success and good health for the community of Lutsk.
