The delegation of Lutsk City Council participated in a study visit to the city of Grodzisk Mazowiecki (Republic of Poland)
During 29 September – 6 October the official delegation of Lutsk City Council, represented by the Chief of the City Promotion Sector of the Tourism and City Promotion Department Bohdan Kalish, Deputy Chief of the Municipal Police Department Vadym Mishchuk, specialist of Computer Software Department Natalia Khmel and specialist of International Relations Sector of International Cooperation and Project Activities Department Anna Vintsiuk were participating in the study visit to the city of Grodzisk Mazowiecki in Republic of Poland. The visit was organized by the 4th of June Society, which gathered veterans of the Polish movement “Solidarnist”. The Society operates more than six months and is interested in supporting Ukraine by organizing study visits.
The main idea of the visit was to gain work experience in the departments of Grodzisk Mazowiecki County Aministration. Officials of Lutsk City Council had the opportunity to get acquainted with work of colleagues, who shared their knowledge and experience regarding implementation of different initiatives.
The delegation also had an official meeting with Burmistrz of Grodzisk Mazowiecki County Grzegorz Benedykciński, who told about the system of local government in Poland and outlined the priorities of the County development.
The 4th of June Society organized the visits to the objects built under the co-financed from EU funds projects, sightseeing tours in Warsaw: excursions to the Palace of Culture and Science, the Sejm and the Senate of Poland. The delegation attended modern enterprises of Grodzisk Mazowiecki County.
Together with Zbigniew Bujak, one of the leaders of movement “Solidarnist”, who actually established cooperation between the Society and Lutsk City Council, the members of the study visit were interviewed by local radio station “Bogoria” and by the monthly magazine of the same name.
The contact with the High School of Business and Entrepreneurship was established during the study visit to the city of Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski.
