Delegation of Lutsk City Council took part in the German-Ukrainian Partner Conference
Delegation of Lutsk City Council took part at the German-Ukrainian partner conference “Сhallenges and synergy effect in partnership within trilateral cooperation”, which was held on 8-9 June in Lviv. On the event Lutsk was represented by Acting Head of International Cooperation and Project Activities Department Victoriia Homonets and Head of International Relations Division Anna Vintsiuk.
The event was held within the project “Partnership with Ukrainian Cities”, which is implemented by financial support of Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of the Federal Republic of Germany. Besides traditional participation of German and Ukrainian communities, which develop partner relations, the event involved the representatives of partner communities from Poland and Romania. Among the conference participants were Lutsk partners: Lippe District (Germany), cities of Lublin, Zamość and Rzeszów.
The participants of the event shared experience of successful implementation of trilateral projects. In particular, the representatives of partner Lippe District presented the project of youth exchange within grant program “Erasmus+”, which was implemented in summer 2016 on the territory of Germany. The exchange brought together representatives from 9 European countries, including young people from Lutsk and Kaunas (Lithuania) and Lippe District (Germany).
The conference has become a perfect opportunity to discuss project cooperation prospects between the partners. Representatives of International Cooperation and Project Activities Department held discussions on the plans and elaborations for involvement of grant funds on implementation of mutually beneficial bi- and trilateral initiatives on the topics of climate mitigation, youth and social policy, experience exchange and borrowing the best practises of cities development.
