Delegation from Lutsk took part in the opening of informational office for foreigners in Lublin
On 12 September the delegation of our city, led by the Deputy Mayor, Head of the Executive Committee Yurii Verbych, visited the city of Lublin in Republic of Poland and took part in the opening of informational office for foreigners in Lublin service bureau for residents. The event took place in the framework of the international project “Improvement of administrative services delivered to the population of cross-border regions through a network of centers providing administrative services and cooperation development between Lutsk center for administrative services, Ivano-Frankivsk center”. Among the delegation members there were also the project manager Petro Verzun and Deputy Director of the “Center of administrative services in Lutsk” of Lutsk City Council, the Chief of Administrative Department Tetiana Nechyporenko.
Deputy Mayor, Head of the Executive Committee Yurii Verbych from Lutsk, Manager of the Executive Committee Andriy Lys from Ivano-Frankivsk, and Secretary of Lublin Council Andrzey Voyevudzki and Director of Lublin Bureau Monica Artymyak welcomed present participants at the official opening of informational office. In his speech Yurii Verbych stressed on the importance of opening an informational office for foreigners, because it will facilitate access to administrative services for Ukrainians, who live in the city of Lublin. After the official part delegation got acquainted with the work of Lublin Bureau, learned about the peculiarities of the electronic queue.
During the visit, Yurii Verbych and Petro Verzun discussed with the Coordinator of the project on the Polish side Anna Yastzhembska the further implementation of project activities.
Reference: from March 1, 2013 the Executive Committee of Lutsk City Council in cooperation with administration of Lublin City and Executive Committee of Ivano-Frankivsk City Council and Local Development Fund of Lutsk start implementation of the project “Improvement of administrative services delivered to the population of cross-border regions through a network of centers providing administrative services and cooperation development between Lutsk center for administrative services, Ivano-Frankivsk center”. The project, involving the budget of 468 600 Euro, is being co-financed by the European Union under the Cross Border Cooperation Programme Poland-Belarus-Ukraine 2007-2013.
