The Delegation from Lutsk Took Part in the 16th International Fair of Public Transport "TRANSEXPO"
Among Lutsk City Council delegates were Deputy Director of the Department of Economic Policy Yulia Datsyuk, and Serhiy Omelchuk who is Deputy Director of the same Department and the Head of Investment Policy Division. They took part in the 16th International Fair of Public Transport "TRANSEXPO" in the Polish city of Kielce on October 12-14, 2022.
During the business visit, the Lutsk delegation studied the available public transport market that was presented on the 8,000 square meters area and displayed 100 exhibits from 9 countries.
Apart from the negotiations that were held, the delegates also met potential suppliers of trolleybuses. They could participate in the upcoming tender "Urban Public Transport of Ukraine II" jointly with the European Investment Bank.
In order to improve transportation between rural areas and the city, the delegates studied the price policy and technical characteristics of medium-passenger buses of foreign production.
The exhibition was full of meetings, conversations, new vehicle presentations and demonstrations of technological solutions. It is worth noting that officials responsible for public transport from Vinnytsia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Chernivtsi and Uzhhorod were also present at the exhibition.
Despite the martial law and Russian aggression, we are confident of victory. We are building clear future plans about increasing the comfort and improving the lives of Lutsk citizens in all sectors possible. One of the most prioritized directions is comfortable passenger transportation.
