Dutch trade mission to Lutsk
On April 22, 2015 the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ukraine organized Dutch Trade Mission to Lutsk headed by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Nertherlands to Ukraine Kees Klompenhouwer.
A Dutch Trade mission consisting of 21 Dutch companies visited Lutsk and Volyn region in order to explore the region’s potential, establishing or expanding cooperation with Ukrainian counterparts. The composition of the Mission reflected the core sectors of the Dutch economy: agriculture (horticulture and agrifood), consulting, logistics and constructions. Among the participants there were representatives of small and medium businesses.
Representatives of the mission and Mr.Ambassador had an opportynity to meet with Lutsk City Mayor Mykola Romaniuk and were warmly welcomed in the session hall of Lutsk City Council. Mr. Ambassador admited that even in this difficult time for Ukraine Dutch entrepreneurs are ready to establishing cooperation. "We consider Ukraine as a productive partner in economic and export activities" - he said. During the second part of the meeting Deputy Mayor Taras Yakovlev presented Lutsk investment potential for foreign delegation. It is believed that very soon we will see the results of mutually beneficial Ukrainian-Dutch cooperation.
