Festival of Culture and Tourism "Bird's Paradise" in Bandirma (Turkey)
On 28-31 May the official delegation of Lutsk headed by Member of the City Council Andrii Razumovskyi visited the city of Bandirma (Turkish Republic) and participated in the 26th International Festival of Culture and Tourism "Birds paradise".
The program of festive events included participation of official delegations from the partner cities and performances by folk groups, representing their culture and traditions with folk songs and dances. Besides Lutsk on the festival their national peculiarities presented also other partners of Bandirma: city of Kavala in Greece, Nikopol in Bulgaria, the town of Kamen in Germany.
Lutsk and Volyn region were represented at a high level due to performances of the vocal quartet consisting of Tatiana Tsihotska, Oksana Shtemburska, Tetiana Soroka, Yuliia Szewchyk and the national amateur dance ensemble "Volynianka" of Lutsk Palace of Culture.
During the solemn meeting with Bandirma City Mayor Dursun Mirza the possible ways of cooperation between Bandirma and Lutsk were discussed.
For heads of foreign delegations excursions to large industrial entreprises of Bandirma, were organized. Guests had the possibility to get acquainted with functioning of plants for production of tractors, of poultry and fertilizers, of marble slabs.
The delegation received an unforgettable experience during a tour to the National Reserve "Birds paradise".
