Final conference within the European project
On 31 July a final conference within the framework of the project “Joint cooperation network within culture and welfare on behalf of the development of the cities of Polish-Ukrainian borderland” was taking place in the building of Rzeszów Municipality. This project is being implemented by the Executive committee of Lutsk City Council in cooperation with Ivano-Frankivsk and Rzeszów Municipalities.
Within the conference partners discussed the results of the project and further cooperation. Lutsk was represented by First Deputy Mayor Taras Yakovlev, Secretary of Lutsk City Council Sergii Hryhorenko, Head of International Cooperation and Project Activities Department Vira Kudriavtseva.
During the conference it was presented the Programme of cross-border cooperation for Rzeszów, Ivano-Frankivsk and Lutsk 2014-2020, worked out within the framework of the project. The programme contains analysis of cultural and social protection institutions activities and recommendations for further cooperation development among the cities in these spheres, including concrete proposals of the measures. The programme will be extended among the partner-cities institutions and organizations involved in cultural and social protection activities.
Conference was preceded by a seminar on attracting volunteers to the activities of the cultural and social protection institutions and organizations. Representatives of Lutsk city center of social services for family, children and youth, Volyn NGO "Community Development Foundation", Cultural Association 100W, Animation studio "Imago" were invited as the participants of the event. The seminar was conducted by the experienced cultural workers and activists from Poland, who shared their experience concerning cooperation with mass media, attracting volunteers and their motivating. Besides, they told and demonstrated interactive gaming methods for setting up a volunteers’ team work.
The finishing touch of the Ukrainian visit to Poland was opening of the exhibition "Ukraine: so close and so far" prepared by Rzeszów photographers union. The works were made during the photoplaner across the cities of the Western Ukraine, which was held in October last year. The exhibition, particularly, represents photos from Lutsk, Ternopil, Dubno, Tarakanov, Zbarazh, Kremenets.
