German NGO "Friendship Bridges to Ukraine" presented three ambulances to the city of Lutsk
This event was preceded by a meeting of the Mayor of Lutsk Mykola Romaniuk with the Chairman of the NGO “Friendship Bridges to Ukraine” Karl-Hermann Krog, who visited Volyn region on May 22 this year. During the conversation it was agreed on the transferring of ambulances to our city.
Recently Lutsk City Mayor Mykola Romaniuk received a letter from Professor h. c. Karl-Hermann Krog regarding presentation of three ambulance cars for hospitals in Lutsk from the NGO “Friendship Bridges to Ukraine”.
Customs procedures of humanitarian aid will be provided by Volyn Regional Charitable Fund “European vector”. After passing all customs procedures, which will take 1.5 - 2 months, ambulance cars will be distributed among city medical institutions with the aim of providing emergency medical care for adults and children.
Mykola Romaniuk sincerely expresses his thanks to Karl Hermann Krog, Chairman of the NGO “Friendship Bridges to Ukraine”, Olexander Mishchuk, regional coordinator of cooperation with the NGO “Friendship Bridges to Ukraine” in Lutsk and Volodymyr Shevchuk, Chairman of the Ukrainian Foundation “The Unity” for the constant help, support and implementation of various projects which are so important for our city.
Reference. The NGO “Friendship Bridges to Ukraine” (Brückenschlag Ukraine) has been already collaborating with the city of Lutsk for 15 years in the fields of culture, education, science and medicine. Chairman of the non-governmental organization Professor Karl-Hermann Krog was awarded with the title of “Honorary Citizen of Volyn” for “significant personal contribution to the development of Ukrainian-German relationships”.
