Implementation of new German-Ukrainian project was discussed in Lutsk City Council
On 6 October a working meeting of Deputy Mayor Andrii Kytsia and member of union “Bridges of friendship to Ukraine” Rolf Shilberg, who is a manager of the project “Autumn university – exchange of experience. An informative bridge of development of friendly relations between Germany and Ukraine” was held. The meeting was also attended by Head of International Cooperation and Project Activities Department Vira Kudriavtseva, Head of international relations department Anna Vintsiuk, coordinator of union “Bridges of friendship to Ukraine” in Volyn region Oleksandr Mishchuk.
During the meeting the basic stages of new project implementation were discussed. The main project participants are: Lutsk Gymnasium # 4 to partner school Friedenstahl in Herford and higher educational institutions from Lutsk and Lippe District.
Under the project it is planned to implement the following activities:
- an exchange visit for pupils of Lutsk Gymnasium # 4 to partner school Friedenstahl in Herford;
- development of a digital bridge, connecting educational institutions from Lutsk and Lippe District through conduction of video conferences and creation of website;
- purchase of 2 computers for Volnovakha schools, aiming at their further involvement in digital bridge.
The project is being implemented under financial support of Ministry of foreign affairs and aims to become an instrument for development of free opinion of young people, regardless of propaganda, imposed by different states and policies, benefitting from acquired modern media techniques.
The sides confirmed readiness to implement the project and underlined its importance with respect to enhancement of interaction and collaboration between young people from different countries.
