Iryna Chebelyuk has met with representatives of the project "Polish Service for the Reconstruction of Ukraine"
Deputy Mayor Iryna Chebelyuk has met with representatives of the "Polish Service for the Reconstruction of Ukraine" project: Adam Eberhardt, Director of the Centre for Strategic Studies of the Warsaw Business Institute, Marcin Mazurek, Chief Executive Officer of the Polish Real Estate Holding, Jozef Lang, Director of the Warsaw Enterprise Institute Office in Kyiv, and Victoria Homonets, Project Coordinator.
The project is funded by the Polish government. The Polish Reconstruction Service for Ukraine has recently opened an office in Lutsk and is starting to work actively. In total, eight regions of Central and Western Ukraine have already been involved in the project.
As the name implies, the project is aimed at rebuilding and modernising Ukraine through economic development, and its coordinators are establishing relations between Ukrainian and Polish businesses. The latter, according to the participants present in the meeting, are interested in investing in our country.
Iryna Chebelyuk expressed her gratitude to the foreign guests for their visit to Lutsk and noted that the Lutsk community has already implemented many interesting projects. "We have a great grant history and good programme implementers. We are interested in businesses approaching us and investing their funds here. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we have created a business relocation centre and are always ready to cooperate," she said.
The parties also discussed tools to facilitate cooperation between Polish business and those in our community.
