Lutsk, Ivano-Frankivsk and Rzeszów set cooperation network
Meeting on a topic of network cooperation with Ukraine took place on 4-6 February in Rzeszów.
Cross-border event was organized as a part of the project "Joint cooperation network within culture and welfare on behalf of the development of the cities of Polish-Ukrainian borderland", funded by the European Union in the framework of Сross-border Сooperation Programme Poland-Belarus-Ukraine 2007-2013.
The development of cities located near the Polish-Ukrainian border was the main theme of participants’ discussion.
Representatives of City Council executive committees, social organizations and cultural institutions participated in this event.
At the end of the meeting two good practices were chosen, i.e. solutions that are used by one of the partners, and can be used by other cities. Three partners jointly decided which practices are worthy of following. The results of the meeting will serve for working out the "Network Cross-border Cooperation Programme for Rzeszów, Ivano-Frankivsk and Volyn in 2014-2020".
In 2014 two next meetings concerning network cooperation will be held in Lutsk and Ivano-Frankivsk.
