Lutsk-Lublin: 20th anniversary of cooperation
On 20 August Lutsk was celebrating the 20th anniversary of cooperation with the city of Lublin (Poland). The Partnership Agreement between the cities was signed on 4 March 1996. Within the frameworks of the activities dedicated to this event, it was invited to Lutsk a music band «ŁUKASZ JEMIOŁA» from Lublin.
First Deputy Mayor Taras Yakovlev greeted all citizens and guests of the city who came to Teatralna square and congratulated them on the anniversary of the partnership between Lutsk and Lublin. He expressed thank you to the Polish guests for the fruitful cooperation in cultural, sports, tourist, economic and financial projects.
First Deputy Mayor Artur Szymczyk also took a floor and wished both cities to work in the same positive direction. Then, it was organized the presentation of the video on the major milestones of cooperation and already implemented projects between Lutsk and Lublin. Further, the square was filled by the contemporary music performed by the young musicians known as the famous Lublin band. The performance of the music band «ŁUKASZ JEMIOŁA» was supported by the Administration of Lublin.
In addition, within the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the partnership between Lutsk and Lublin it was presented a new graffiti. Author of the graffiti, famous muralist Serhii Radkevych said that the image was complex, full of deep meaning and numerous signs. Two symbolic palms unite two friendly cities.
