Lutsk Mayor Mykola Romaniuk met with the OSCE mission representatives in Lutsk
Today Lutsk City Council held a meeting of Lutsk Mayor Mykola Romaniuk with the representatives of Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe: Columbus Igboanusi and Per Goran Viik. Deputy Mayor Yurii Verbych and Head of the International Cooperation and Project Activities Department Vira Kudriavtseva also participated in the meeting.
The guests informed the aim of their arrival, which is providing independent monitoring of the process of preparation and holding of the presidential elections in Ukraine. The OSCE observers were told about organization of the election process in Lutsk and the role of Lutsk City Council in realizing organizational and technical activities.
Lutsk Mayor stressed on the importance of the observers’ mission in Lutsk and stated that the city is ready for elections and all the necessary resources are available. Apart from that, Mykola Romaniuk mentioned that European integration processes in the region and active international contacts of Lutsk contribute to the city’s development and numerous implemented initiatives and projects, particularly the activity of the Centre of Administrative Services, improve the transparency of the local government work and make the corruption acts practically impossible.
