Lutsk has received humanitarian aid from the First Lady of Poland Agatha Kornhauser-Duda

First Lady of Poland Agata Kornhauser-Duda gave humanitarian aid to the city of Lutsk. This was announced today during a meeting between Lutsk Mayor Ihor Polishchuk and Vice Consul of the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Lutsk Mateusz Marszalek.

 

According to Mateusz Marszalek, the First Lady initiated a discussion with Lutsk City Mayor about potential humanitarian assistance during her recent visit to Lutsk. She was informed that there was a need for thermal underwear and charging devices.

"Almost two months later, we are handing the humanitarian aid from First Lady of Poland Agatha Kornhauser-Duda. It was financed by the government of Poland. I would also like to hand you a personal letter from her", said the Vice Consul.

 

Ihor Polishchuk expressed his gratitude for the help and emphasised that he highly appreciated the support etended by the First Lady of Poland. "We are pleased that her visit occurred in our city, and the meeting took place at a special venue - the Okolny Castle. This site holds symbolic importance, uniting Lutsk with a partner city in Poland. This is a joint project that we implemented and we hope that our communication, cooperation and friendship will continue".

 

According to Mateusz Marszalek, Agata Kornhauser-Duda thoroughly enjoyed her visit to Lutsk, leaving with positive memories.

According to Ihor Polishchuk, the City Council will hand over the aid to the soldiers of the 100th Independent Territorial Defence Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the 14th Mechanised Brigade “Prince Roman the Great”.
