Municipal workers from Lutsk and Chelm summarised implementation of the international project
On October 20-21, 2015 delegation of Lutsk heads of municipal services took an active part in the final seminar within the framework of the international project «The growth of municipal services as a part of well-balanced development of Polish – Ukrainian borderland cities» that was held in Chelm (Poland).
This final event was a kind of summing up the whole project and thematically covered all areas of «communal» life in partner cities of Lutsk and Chelm: housing and municipal economy, public transport, waste management, heat supply, water and sewage economy.
Besides, it was presented the main products of the project: the Rainwater Drainage Concepts for Lutsk and Chelm. The design-budget documentation for arrangement of the drainage system for certain streets in Lutsk, which are situated in the area flooded by rain and thaw water, is at the stage of production. The speakers noted the importance of these documents to the inhabitants of their cities and outlined prospects for the practical implementation of these documents.
