Opening of the exhibition "Portraits of rulers and distinguished figures of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania"
On 10 October the exhibition of the Lithuanian artist Artūras Slapšys was opened in Lutsk Art Museum on the territory of Lutsk Castle. It displayed the portraits of the rulers and distinguished figures of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. The exhihibition was organized within the framework of the international tourist project "The Gediminids' Way" and was dedicated to the 585th anniversary from the Congress of European monarchs in Lutsk. This diplomatic event took place in 1429 and was aimed at searching solutions for political and economic challenges of the Central-Eastern Europe. The exhibition opening was attended by the Lithuanian delegation, consisting of the artist Artūras Slapšys, the collection owner Antanas Gedvilas, and historians, investigating the background and roots of the famous Lithuanian ancestors, Tomas Baranauskas and Inga Baranauskiene.
