Joint projects of Lutsk and Lublin have been presented during the Cross-Border Partnership Day in Rivne.
On Saturday, May 20, 2023, the Cross-Border Partnership Day was celebrated in Rivne. Anna Vintsyuk, Head of International Cooperation and Project Activities Department, and Tetiana Zarubaiko, Head of Project Activities Division of the same Department both attended the event.
Anna Vintsyuk presented two joint projects of Lutsk and Lublin, co-financed by the European Union: «Revitalization of Monuments of Historical and Cultural Heritage of Lutsk and Lublin», which involved the restoration of Chortoryiski Tower and the underground cells of the Jesuit monastery in Lutsk, and «Secrets of Two Towers: Promoting the Historical Heritage of Lutsk and Lublin through Innovative Technologies», which involves the development of a mobile application - a tourist quest exploring the landmarks of Lutsk.
The event in Rivne was dedicated to Ukrainian-Polish neighborliness and the launch of the Cross-Border Cooperation Programme «Interreg NEXT Poland-Ukraine 2021-2027». The Cross-Border Programme Office together with Rivne Regional State Administration were co-organizers of the event.
In addition to Lutsk, representatives from Rivne, Ternopil, Kremenets, and the Carpathian Euroregion also shared information about the best projects of the previous Cross-Border Cooperation Programme PBU 2014-2020.
