Twin town Lublin presented an anniversary medal to Lutsk
The delegation from Lutsk City Council headed by Secretary of Lutsk City Council Hryhorii Pustovit visited the partner city Lublin, Republic of Poland, on August 14-15, and took part in the official events on the occasion of the 700th anniversary of municipal rights granted to Lublin.
During a solemn session that took place in Lublin on August 15 the Mayor of Lublin Krzysztof Zuk presented to Lutsk a souvenir medal as a sign of fruitful partnership. Besides Lutsk, souvenir medals were also presented to delegations from the 31 twin towns of Lublin. The geography of international cooperation of ancient and at the same time modern Lublin is very wide. However, most of the strategic partners of Lublin are Ukrainian cities. Lutsk has been actively cooperating with Lublin since 1996, looking for common themes for work, solving common problems and implementing joint projects.
In the speech of the solemn session that took place at art gallery of Lublin Castle, the Mayor of Lublin Krzysztof Zuk emphasized the importance of cooperation with twin towns.
Hryhorii Pustovit congratulated the representatives of the municipality of Lublin on the occasion of the city anniversary and assured of the interest in further cooperation.
