Вмілими і витривалими воїнами були луцькі кликуни. Адже окрім завдань замкової сторожі, вони ще й наглядали за пожежною безпекою в місті, а також були швидкими гінцями (вістовими). Бо княжі листи повинні були без затримок потрапляти до адресата. Найшвидшими серед кликунів були Хвацькó і Прудкó. Саме їм найчастіше довіряли доставку княжої кореспонденції, адже робили вони свою справу хвацько і прудко!

Lutsk klykuns were skilled and strong warriors. After all, in addition to the tasks of the castle guard, they also observed fire safety in the city and were also quick messengers (heralds). Because the prince’s letters had to reach the recipient without delay. Khvatskó and Prudkó were the fastest among the klykuns. They were most often entrusted with the delivery of princely correspondence, because they did their work skillfully and quickly!
